Scope of Work

Many risk management procedures start with 1. Identify the risks however this is incorrect.

Establishing the scope of work is essential for two reasons:

  1. Prevents wasting time and resources identifying and mitigating risk for activities that will not be in the project
  2. Help ensure you do not miss and activities that are included in the project, and therefore fail to identify and mitigate risk
